About Us

Dreu and Acorn Forest School & Bushcraft provides outdoor learning experiences for children across Rochdale and within a 20-mile radius.

We are fully qualified Forest School Leaders and experienced bushcraft instructors. Our aim is to help children develop confidence, resilience, independence, and a lifelong connection with the natural world through hands-on outdoor learning.

We are fully insured and have comprehensive policies and procedures in place. We also maintain 22 risk assessments covering a wide range of activities and situations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

What is a Forest School?

Forest School is a child-led approach to learning that takes place in a natural outdoor environment.

Children are encouraged to explore, take appropriate risks, solve problems, develop practical skills, and build confidence through regular outdoor experiences.
